Orange County Youth Sports Academy Objectives:

  • Providing a healthy after-school environment for teens and tweens
     
  • Increase physical exercise for teens and tweens
     
  • Decrease or lower the chance of injuries that may occur in the short-term and long-term parts of an athlete’s career by correcting movements patterns and muscle imbalances
     
  • Prepare students for their respective sports so that they can excel
     
  • Improving mechanics and movement patterns to improve the way youth athletes move
     
  • Keep teens and tweens off of video games, social media and TV after school
     
  • Take the lost time from the above activities and apply it to exercise, sports, studying, tutoring, arts
     
  • Provide leadership, healthy role models and in-house speakers to teens and tweens (World Class athletes and professionals) for life coaching lessons
     
  • Engage teens & tweens in a lifestyle that will translate to an improved well-being, respect for themselves 
     
  • Provide nutritional guidelines for food and beverages that will reduce obesity
     
  • Use exercise as a gateway to improved study productivity and better grades
     
  • Expand exercise and nutrition education so that teens and tweens have the information they need to
     
  • Create a local trend of life fitness, lifestyle choices and positivity that will empower teens and tweens to recognize that “I am the architect of my own future”
     
  • Communicate with the community, parents, schools, parents and staff our goals and successes as well as the lessons we’ve learned In doing the above, we also happen to help create, motivate and nurture some pretty darn good athletes!
